Chanmyay Myaing has never been known as a place that draws attention to itself. The center avoids grand architectural displays, worldwide promotion, or a continuous flow of guests. Nevertheless, in the context of Burmese insight meditation, it is esteemed as a silent pillar of the Mahāsi lineage, a place where the practice has been preserved with
